According to Newsday's Kat O'Brien, Mark Teixeira has been scratched from tonight's game due to a sore left wrist. The revised lineup has Nick Swisher at first base and Johnny Damon, who was to sit tonight, playing left field.

Peter Abraham reports that Teixeira's wrist only bothers him batting right-handed, which would have been the case tonight. He'll be checked out by the Royals' doctors shortly.
