Friend of My Pinstripes, Dan Giese has been claimed off of the waiver wire by the Oakland A's. Giese had been designated for assignment when Jonathan Albaladejo was chosen for the final spot in the Yankees bullpen. He was assigned to the A's Triple-A affiliate in Sacramento.
We wish Dan much luck and success in Oakland!
