After 3 poor outings by starting pitchers thus far, the demand will increase from fans (and maybe King George) to bring Phil Hughes to the Bronx sooner.
"The Stud" made his '07 debut for Scranton tonight. In less than stellar weather, Hughes limited the Norfolk Tides to 2 hits over 5 innings. Hughes allowed 2 runs, while walking 2 and striking out 6.
Eric Duncan has also hit his 1st HR as the Yankees lead the Tides 6-3 in the 9th.
