Yankees Front Runner for Burnett

Ken Rosenthal has been told by sources that the Yankees have emerged as the front runner for A.J. Burnett. Not a surprise really since the Yankees are throwing absurd amounts of cash around.

Burnett's representatives were expected to contact interested clubs Thursday, giving them one last chance to beat the Yankees offer of five years and approximately $85 million.
