We should be overwhelmed in the coming months with the number of television specials and books published about Yankee Stadium. The local Channel 4 affiliate in NYC will air "The Legacy of Yankee Stadium" tomorrow (Saturday) night at 7 p.m..
The show is a highlight reel of Yankees, Popes, Rock Stars, Giants, Boxers, etc.. There's Larsen's perfect game, Jeffrey Maiers, Tino and Brosius, Mickey, Joe D., the Iron Horse, and the Babe.
The show is in no particular order, hop-scotching back and forth from one era to another. Commentators range from Pete Hamill to Dave Anderson to Sparky Lyle.
As a Yankees fan you never really can get too tired of this stuff.
