Breaking News: Wang out 2-3 Months

That according to the NY Daily News citing a source familiar with the test results.

Wang was examined Monday at New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia Medical Center by Stuart Hershon, the Yankees' team physician, Dr. Jason Greisberg, a foot and ankle specialist, the Yankees said. According to a statement released by the team, "Imaging studies revealed a mid-foot sprain of the Lisfranc ligament of the right foot and a partial tear of the peroneal longus tendon of the right foot."

Wang will be on crutches and wear a protective boot for a minimum of six weeks, the statement said. The Yankees initially said Wang had a sprained foot after Sunday's game.

We are not amused.
