Charleston RiverDogs starter Jason Stephens' first half of the season earned him a spot in the South Atlantic League All-Star game and now it has gotten him promoted to Tampa. Stephens began the season as a reliever before being plugged into the rotation. In 17 games, 8 of them starts, he's compiled a 2-3, 3.02 mark with 52 strikeouts, while walking just 10. The New York Post reported that Steven White passed through waivers and was removed from the 40-man roster. The 27-yr old was just 4-6, with a 6.61 ERA at Scranton this season.
