Jason Lane's walk off home run gave the Scranton Yankees 5-4 win over the Indianapolis Indians in 10 innings. The Yankees rallied from a 4-2 deficit behind Eric Duncan's home run and 3 RBI. J.B. Cox picked up his first win after throwing 1.2 scoreless innings. Kei Igawa (6 IP 5 H 4 R 3 ER 2 BB 6 SO) got the start for Scranton.
The Trenton Thunder bullpen blew a 4-1 lead in a 5-4 loss to the Altoona Curve. Chase Wright struggled with control, walking 6 batters in 6.2 innings, but still stood to get the win. But the Curve scored 4 runs off of Steven Jackson and Bo Hall in the 8th to earn the win. Austin Jackson homered for the Thunder and drove in 2 runs.
Tampa outscored the Dayton Cubs 12-8 as Ben Blumenthal, playing in just his 3rd game of the season, hit his first home run and drove in 3 runs for the Yankees. Luis Nunez also hit his first HR of the year to help Wil Arias pick up his 2nd win.
The Charleston RiverDogs completed a 4-game sweep of the Greenville Drive with a 6-5 victory. The Dogs trailed 5-4 in the 8th, but Brandon Laird smacked his second 2-run of the game to put the Dogs up for good. Austin Krum added a solo shot. Wil De La Rosa threw 3 shutout innings of relief for his 2nd win and Jonathan Ortiz earned his 14th save.
