It may have been against the Royals, but Dice-K was dealing yesterday in his MLB debut. He struck out 10 in a 7 inning, 104 pitch effort as he out dueled Zack Greinke.
Mark Buehrle got a scare in his start againt the Tribe. The Indian's Ryan Garko hit a line drive off of Buehrle's left forearm in the 2nd inning. X-Rays were negative and Buehrle is expected to make his 2nd start.
The Braves beat the Phillies, 8-4, to complete a season opening 3 game sweep.
Mike Piazza homered off of Francisco Rodriguez in the A's 4-3 win over the Angels. Things could get even worse for K-Rod. MLB has confirmed that they are investigating allegations that he's doctoring the baseball.
