Peter Abraham spoke to a trusted Yankees insider who insists the Yankees will not budge off of their offer for Johan Santana. That means no Austin Jackson, Alan Horne, or Ian Kennedy.

The new contract here is the obvious thing keeping other teams from getting involved. The Angels could part with players that are a lot better than the Red Sox prospects.
