Brewers Can Yost

The Milwaukee Brewers have gone 3-11 in September and manager Ned Yost has paid the price. The Brewers have fired their manager after seeing their wildcard lead disappear. Milwaukee had won 8 of 9 to finish off August, but were swept in three straight by the Mets to start the final month of the season. The Phillies caught the Brewers in the standings with a four game sweep this past weekend.

Milwaukee had an 8.5 game lead in the NL Central last season, but didn't make the playoffs. The front office is trying to ensure that a similar situation doesn't occur this season. Third base coach, and former utility man, Dale Sveum will take over as interim manager.
