The Milwaukee Brewers have gone 3-11 in September and manager Ned Yost has paid the price. The Brewers have fired their manager after seeing their wildcard lead disappear. Milwaukee had won 8 of 9 to finish off August, but were swept in three straight by the Mets to start the final month of the season. The Phillies caught the Brewers in the standings with a four game sweep this past weekend.Milwaukee had an 8.5 game lead in the NL Central last season, but didn't make the playoffs. The front office is trying to ensure that a similar situation doesn't occur this season. Third base coach, and former utility man, Dale Sveum will take over as interim manager.
