The Yankees are taking on the Blue Jays this afternoon. Andy Pettitte made his spring debut, facing seven hitters in 1.2 innings pitched. The Yankees lead 2-1 on Brett Gardner's third home run of the spring. Russ Adams hit a solo shot off of Dan Giese.
The Yankees made their first cuts, sending J.B. Cox, George Kontos, and Kanekoa Texeira to the minor league camp. Andrew Brackman was reassigned to Charleston.
