Sources have told Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal the reason Mariano Rivera hasn't agreed to his new deal is that he wants even more. To be specific a 4th year guaranteed. Apparently, Jorge Posada's 4 year deal has had an impact on Mo's thinking.
We love Mo, but he will not get a guaranteed 4 year deal anywhere. I can see the Yankees maybe putting in an option for a 4th, but not guaranteeing it.
If he wants it guaranteed, he can walk.
