A-Rod and Boras Scheming

According to the NY Post, Alex Rodriguez and bottom feeder agent Scott Boras are meeting in Orange County, CA to discuss A-Rod's future. The delusional Boras said last week that a 12-year, $360 million deal isn't out of the question. If any owner is dumb enough to do it be our guests.

The Yankees should just say, "here's 7 years, 210 million...take it or leave it". There's no question that re-signing A-Rod is smart for both the team and the business. You may think that's crazy, but with a new Stadium opening, you want the big marquee player.

A-Rod is sitting on 518 career homers. It's not out of the realm of possibility that he could his 600th at the end of the 2009 season, and could hit number 700 in 2012. You see where were going here. The all-time home run leader should be wearing pinstripes.
