Joe Torre is getting his wish, just not with the team he had originally hoped. Reports earlier this evening were that Torre and the Dodgers were close to agreeing on a 3 year deal for app. $15 million. A deal could be announced as early as Thursday.
Dodgers skipper Grady Little was forced to resign earlier in the day, receiving a buy out in the process.
Don Mattingly is already on board to join Torre's staff and contract discussions are taking place for the remaining staff.
