Alex Rodriguez has notified the Yankees Sunday night that he's opting out of the remaining 3 years of his contract. According to SI - Rodriguez's agent Scott Boras said he sent word of the opt-out in writing Sunday and left phone and text messages for Yankees general manager Brian Cashman.
Team president Randy Levine said the Yankees were unaware of A-Rod's intentions.
There you have it. Apparently there is no answer for just how much money do you need? So A-Rod and Scott Boras, you can take your greed and shove it up your collective asses.
