A-Quad Hurting


You had to have a feeling that something would happen as Alex Rodriguez prepared to re-join the Yankees on Monday. Sure enough a tight left quadricep muscle has Lightning-Rod out of the lineup in Scranton today and has put his return to the Yankees in Texas tomorrow in doubt.

The Yankees will now have to figure out whether to keep A-Rod on the DL or activate him with the possibility he won't play for a couple of days. For sure an MRI will need to be done to check if this is a  mild condition or a more extensive injury.

UPDATE: A-Rod's MRI showed a grade 1 quad strain; yes, the same diagnosis that Derek Jeter had. A-Rod will definitely be
