The Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays kick off a 2-game series tonight at the Stadium. A.J. Burnett tries to stop yet another 2-game losing streak as he squares off against Andy Sonnanstine. The series concludes tomorrow with Andy Pettitte facing Jeff Niemann.
The reports on Jorge Posada is that he has a Grade 2 strain of his hamstring, which means he will be out at least a month. It wouldn't be surprising if Brian Cashman looked for a veteran back up so that Francisco Cervelli could get more playing time in the minors.
Alex Rodriguez slid in an extended spring training game today, meaning he is even closer to returning.

Matsui DH
