NFL Recap - Week 9

As good as we were in week 8, that's how bad we were in week 9.

Redskins -3.5 at Jets
Clinton Portis ran for 196 yards and the Redskins still had to go to OT for a game winning field goal. Which translates to being WRONG.

Patriots -5.5 at Colts
Great game. Unfortunately we only saw the last few minutes- right after the Pats went ahead. But they didn't go ahead by enough. WRONG again.

Titans -4 vs. Panthers
Vince Young got a little more offense going. Just a little more, but the Panthers couldn't do squat. We were RIGHT.

Bengals -1 at Bills
We said this was a coin flip game, and the coin flipped the wrong way for us. 17 unanswered points by the Bills in the 4th qtr, put us on the WRONG end.

Broncos +3 at Lions
Even though they were playing at home where their tough, we thought the Broncos would show us something after losing 2 straight. Well they did- how to get blown out on the road. WRONG

Packers +2 at Chiefs
Woo hoo, read one right. Brett Favre has now beaten every team in the NFL. RIGHT!

Saints -3 vs. Jaguars
Jags played tough for a half, but then Drew Brees blew them off the field to the tune of 445 passing yards. RIGHT

Chargers -7 at Vikings
As right as we called the Packers game, boy were we so wrong here. We thought the Chargers had totally turned the corner. But we should have known not to go against our boy Adrian Peterson. 296 yards rushing! Sooner Boomer! WRONG!

49ers +3.5 vs. Falcons
Did anyone attend or watch this game on TV? Hard to imagine any would for the complete game. Alex Smith looks like he has regressed and they have no game without Frank Gore. WRONG

Cardinals +3.5 at Bucs
We thought that Kurt Warner and Edgarrin James would beat a "playing over their heads" Bucs team. A Bucs team without their 2 top RBs. RB #3, Earnie Graham ran for 124 and a 7 point win. WRONG

Seahawks +1 at Browns
Great game, Browns win in OT. Derek Anderson is the man and he's certainly helping Romeo Crennal's job status. WRONG

Raiders -3 vs. Texans
No Matt Schaub for the Texans. We felt comfortable this lifeless Raiders team to manage a win. So of course the Texans win by 7. WRONG

Cowboys +3 at Eagles
Like we said, we were shocked the 'Boys were only 3 point favorites. A 3 TD victory means we were RIGHT.

Steelers -9 vs. Ravens
The Ravens lack of offense came thru for us. This game was over at halftime. We were RIGHT.

At least the last 2 night games were right, because we only went 5-9. :(
