Yankees Avoid Arb. With Trio of Pitchers

There will be no knocking Phil Hughes' second half, Joba Chamberlain's inconsistency, or Boone Logan's ALCS gopherball to Josh Hamilton. All three have avoided the sometimes painful process of arbitration by agreeing to new one year deals with Yankees.

Hughes will receive $2.7 million, $1.4 mill goes to Joba and Logan will bring home $1.4 million this coming season.

Now if they could clone Hughes for a void in the rotation.
