Need to go off-topic for a moment to send condolences to the family of former NBA star Dennis Johnson (You may wonder how a Yankees fan roots for the Boston Celtics, but that is a whole other story).DJ passed away today, from an apparent heart attack, at age 52. He had been coaching in the league's developmental program. DJ won NBA titles with the both the Celtics (1984, 1986) and the Seattle Supersonics (1979, series MVP).
DJ played in 1,100 games over 14 seasons and was one of the top defensive guards in the game.
Rest in peace DJ.
