Love stories like that. Ok, we're saps. But great story relayed by
Peter Abraham of the Journal News. A young girl in Taiwan wanted to meet
Chien-Ming Wang as her
Make-A-Wish Foundation wish. And that's just what happened. Read all about it
here.
By the way, Peter wrote a book about The Wanger that has only been published in Taiwan thus far. Hopefully it will get an English publication in the states one of these days.

the book you talked about, is called "Ace in America - The story of Chien-Ming Wang's rise to stardom with the New York Yankees" by Peter Abraham, Mark Feinsand, and Sam Borden. I am fortunate enough to be fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English so I own a copy. It is very well written, and am an honest depiction of the Taiwanese pitcher. I certain hope there will be enough interests for it in the future for it to be published.
