The Yankees open a 4 game series in Chicago tonight with the White Sox. In their previous meeting, the Sox took 2 out of 3, including a win over tonight's starter Matt DeSalvo. In the stupidity that is major league scheduling, this will be in 7 meetings in Chicago, without one game played in New York.
Here are the probables, including facing some former contract rip-offs
Monday - Matt DeSalvo vs. John Garland
Tuesdsay - Tyler Clippard vs. Mark Buehrle
Wednesday - Chien-Ming Wang vs. Javier Vazquez
Thursday - Mike Mussina vs. Jose Contreras
Bobby Abreu-Jermaine Dye rumors have begun again. Dye is a free agent after this season, while Abreu has a $16 million option. It's not a deal I would make since Dye's offense tends to disappear for great periods of time.
