Charleston River Dog's Mitch Hilligoss finally met his match on Sunday, his 38-game hitting streak stopping in the process. After drawing a 1st inning walk against the Savannah Sand Gnats (yes they really did name the team that), Hilligoss went 0-4 for the rest of the afternoon.
He hit one back to pitcher Matt Durkin in the 3rd, bounced out to short in the 5th, flied to left in the 7th, and grounded out to 2nd in his final at-bat in the 9th.
