The Walk of Life

There's always room for a good story, especially one like this one. Kevin Everett, the Buffalo Bills player who nearly died after a violent on-field collision on September 9, is walking on his own. Everett was paralyzed and subsequently on life-support after being rushed to the the hospital. A few days later Everett had some movement in his extremities. After 2 weeks he was able to be transferred to another facility closer to home.
"He doesn't have a full natural stride but, yeah, he's walking," a person close to the family told The Associated Press on Friday.
