Around the Horn (6/1)

Roy Hallday made his way back to the Jays rotation last night after missing 3 weeks due to an appendectomy. It was vintage Halladay - 7 shut out innings against the White Sox. This guy is one of the best pitchers in the game, but gets little notice in Toronto.

Oriole's pitcher Jamie Walker and his wife had a baby boy the other day. Named him James Leyland Walker, but its got nothing to do with the Tiger's skipper. James is Walker's given name and Leyland is a family name on his wife's side.

Orland "El Duque" Hernandez will always have a special place in our heart. The 40-50-60-something can still pitch. Last night he limited the Giants to 2 hits over 7 innings in the Mets 4-2 win.

Mark Buehrle nearly had another no-hitter last night. The White Sox lefty allowed just 2 hits to the Toronto Blue Jays - and lost the game. Both hits were solo home runs in a 2-0 loss.
