Yesterday was a big day in both the American and National Leagues. Francisco Rodriguez, aka K-Rod, tied Bobby Thigpen's major league record with his 57th save of the season. And yes, he pranced around on the mound afterwards like he always does.
Albert Pujols joined Hall of Fame members Ted Williams and Al Simmons as the only player to drive in 100 runs in each of his first eight major league seasons. Quite an amazing accomplishment.
