Kei Igawa gave up 2 runs over 7.2 innings in
Scranton's 9-4 win over the
Pawtucket Red Sox last night. Igawa didn't walk a batter and struck out 4.
Alberto Gonzalez made a triumphant return to the Yankees lineup with 3 hits and 4 RBI.
Cody Ransom also belted a 3-run home run to help Scranton beat the PawSox for the 2nd straight night. The finale of the 4-game series is tonight with prospects
Dan McCutchen and
Justin Masterson squaring off.
Trenton lost their 3rd straight to the
New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 5-4, in 11 innings.
Eric Hacker allowed 1 earned run in 4 innings, striking out 7, before leaving after 80 pitches. Don't know if he's on a pitch count or not, but we've asked beat writer

Ramiro Pena lead the Thunder offense with 2 RBI.

Tampa Yankees were below normal, well they were 2-hit over 7 innings by
Duane Below of the
Lakeland Flying Tigers in a 4-0 loss.
