Jorge Posada was supposed to be in today's lineup, was scratched after feeling some soreness while stretching during Thursday's game. Despite feeling it on Thursday, Posada was the designated hitter in Friday's game against the Twins.
Posada said the shoulder doesn't hurt while swinging the bat and would have played if the Yankees let him.
