The AP is reporting that MLB has reduced Kyle Farnsworth's suspension from 3 games to 1 after hearing his appeal. Bob Watson had announced the penalty merely based on a video tape of Farnsworth's pitch behind Manny Ramirez on April 17, despite the umpires not even ejecting him from the game.John McHale Jr., an MLB exec VP heard the appeal and made the ruling.
We never thought we'd say this, but its actually good news, because Farnsworth has been pitching as well as he ever has.
